Mitarashi Anko is a character from the anime and manga series *Naruto Shippuden*. She is a special jōnin-level kunoichi (female ninja) from Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village). Known for her somewhat eccentric personality and her expertise in snake-related techniques, she often acts as a proctor for the Chūnin Exams.
Anko first appears in the *Naruto* series during the second stage of the Chūnin Exams. She previously trained under Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin, and was branded with his Cursed Seal of Heaven.
